The vibrant town of Kiltimagh is located in East County Mayo, 15 miles from the town of Castlebar. Small and traditional, Kiltimagh is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and take in true Irish heritage. There are great opportunities for walkers, with routes and terrains to suit everybody; enjoy the Sliabh Cairn mountain walk up into pretty hilltop settings, and take in the wonderful views of the surrounding landscape, or enjoy the fresh air and countryside with a walk around the base of the mountain. The local pony trekking centre is great for all ages and abilities, while angling is readily available in the rivers surrounding the town. Within easy reach is the pilgrimage site of Knock Shrine, while Claremorris, with its shops and leisure facilities, is a 15 minute drive away. Visit Lough Carra and enjoy a spot of fishing, stroll around Castlebar, only a short distance away, tackle Ox Mountain and the Nephin Beg mountains in Ballina or enjoy a round of golf on Westport's 18 hole championship course. A great location, all year round.

Kiltimagh 0.5 miles. A detached, traditional, ground floor cottage, situated in a lovely, elevated position, on the edge of the village of Cultrasna, half a mile from the town of Kiltimagh, in County Mayo. This cosy and compact Kiltimagh cottage is set entirely over the ground floor, and makes a great base for couples or any small family who wish to enjoy the delights of East County Mayo. The lovely sun room in this Kiltimagh cottage is perfect for enjoying warm, lazy afternoons, while the open fire in the sitting room gives the cottage a romantic, welcoming feel, especially on chilly evenings. Take the short walk to Kiltimagh and enjoy one of the scenic walks on offer, try a spot of pony trekking at the local centre, or travel a little further afield and discover the delights of Castlebar, Ballina or Westport, before returning to this lovely Kiltimagh cottage for a quiet night in.
