The beaches are popular with sunbathers, swimmers, surfers and fishermen while the estuary attracts a wide range of watersports enthusiasts. The peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges are within easy reach and are complemented by the charm of the Dovey and Dysynni valleys nearby. An ideal area for walkers, climbers and wildlife watchers, and a wonderful all-year-round location.

The picturesque village of Aberdovey with its inns, restaurants, lovely beach and excellent 18 hole championship golf links, is just 2 miles away, and the location of this Aberdovey cottage is a paradise for outdoor activities with stunning mountain and coastal scenery in all directions. Climbing, walking and mountain biking can be found in the Snowdonia mountain range, whilst the scenic Happy Valley, the famous Panorama Walk, and the Talyllyn Steam Railway are a 5 minute drive away. The cottage was in a beautiful location and furnished very well. Had the weather been better, it would have been perfect for barbeques and sitting in the sun, but alas the British weather!! It was quiet and the views were stunning. Would go there again.
