    • “This cottage is quirky, warm and very well furnished. It had all we needed and was a home from home. The walks at the back of the cottage were great for the dogs albeit we had to keep them on a lead for part of the way as there were a few steep drops. Very magical hearing and seeing the steam train puff away in the hillside at the back of the cottage. Great to have the fuel for the fire provided for all of our holiday saving us having to search around for it. Great pub serving food 5 minutes walk away which was great after a long day out.”

    • “We had an excellent week in this property. We were a mixed party ranging in age between 6 to 70. The nearness of some very rewarding walks, bird-watching and the coast were all contributors to our enjoyment, not to mention the Tal-y-llyn railway and the lake itself. I have spent several holidays in this area in my youth and it hasn't lost its magic.”

    • “The shower was fine once we found out how to regulate the water. The barn was cosy. The spiral stair case would not be suitable for the very young or the infirm. Ample cutlery, glasses etc and furnishings were adequate. Well placed for touring mid/north wales.”

    • “A lovely cottage with great views of the surrounding mountains. The beds were very comfortable, the cottage had everything you would need and had a lovely feel to it. Good parking. The pub down the road serves very good food and beer. A friend of mine whom we were with thought it a good enough location to propose to his girlfriend of 10 years! Right in that living room!”

Mr Hawkins, Worcester Park, May 2015

    • “The cottage was in a beautiful scenic area, which we loved. It was very comfortable & clean. The addition of free logs & coal was very welcome especially as the weather was extremely cold that week. The pub, just 5 minutes walk down the road, was very welcoming, the staff were friendly & the food excellent.”
