It is clean and comfortable, with the hot tub being an added bonus. Lesley and Les are very friendly and helpful. The cottage is also very dog friendly. Ideally situated in quiet rural area, but with many excellent beaches a short drive away. Sykes cottages, please indicate that there is a refundable bond to pay. • "Gorgeous cottage, on arrival we were greeted by Les and Lesley."

The cottage was immaculately clean and smelled beautiful. Les and Lesley have thought of everything you might need from a hairdryer in both bedrooms, beautifully soft towels and dressing gowns (perfect for the hot tub) to a lovely welcome basket. The cottages are set in beautiful country side but not to far from a town. Nothing nicer after a days exploring than a relaxing dip the hot tub. They made us feel welcome along with our dogs. An absolutely brilliant find, will be combing back.

  • "Les and Lesley have thought of everything to make this cottage so homely yet very practical."

Excellent kitchen facilities and lounge area and the conservatory was a bonus to relax in. The scenery was breathtaking in the surrounding area of the cottage and yet a short a drive away were some fabulous beaches. The Owners even exceeded our expectations with the information folders that they provide, containing detailed descriptions of local walks, beaches, places to visit (including sat nav postcodes) which helped us to plan our week. Of course the highlight was the evening dip in the hot tub watching the sunset, highly recommend this cottage for a staycation.

  • "What a fantastic cottage, on arrival we were so pleased with the appearance, everything was so clean."

The cottage felt like a home not a holiday let, I said time my husband I could easily move in here. We spent all our time either sat in the conservatory looking at the views or the hot tub in the evening. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could ever need from dishwasher to board games, the cottage is full of character which is down to the owners Les and Lesley, they live on site and are lovely people they leave you to enjoy your holiday but are there if ya need them and so very very welcoming, stopped to chat with them a few times. The hot tub was cleaned out and topped up during our stay by les. This is a perfect base for visiting this part of wales. We have already said we will 100% return. We had a perfect week away.

The property was beautifully clean and well appointed. The welcome basket a very nice touch, thank you. Very warm and cosy for when we returned from bracing walks along the coast. The hot tub, even in the rain, was fantastic and for us a lovely luxurious pleasure. The cottage is in a perfect location for the activities in the local area and maps and information are provided in plenty. An ideal spot for a long weekend visit such as ours. And best of all our dog was made very welcome as well. We are very much looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommended.

We couldn’t fault anything about this place, just perfect. Lesley & Les (the owners) are there if you need them but leave you to get on with your holiday. The welcome basket that is there upon your arrival is better than you could imagine, so thoughtful. Lovely fluffy dressing gowns on the bed was a really nice touch, fluffy towels too. Well let me move on to the ‘hot tub’ cleaned and kept in tip top condition by Les, an absolute bonus to be able to enjoy and relax. The dogs enjoyed their time here as much as we did. I seriously cannot rate this little gem enough. We will definitely be back.

A really home from home holiday. From the welcoming site of tea and coffee milk sugar for our first holiday cuppa to the hairdryer with robes and soft towels and comfy beds in each bedroom. Oak cottage is very well equipped and was absolutely perfect a little gem infact. The peace and quiet wonderful, it felt like we'd actually had a break from our hectic lives. The many beaches are in easy reach from just a 15min drive away. Then home to the relaxing hot tub lazing watching the clouds go by and a nice bottle of wine provided in the welcome hamper by our wonderful hosts. Benji our border collie was very welcome too, spare dog bowls under the sink incase we had forgotten to pack his and he enjoyed a lovely walk down the country lanes. Les and Lesley are around with a wealth of local knowledge to hand. We would certainly recommend this cottage. Fantastic. Thankyou very much.
