  • "The property is located in a beautiful area overlooking the valley."

We spent four nights here (family of 4 with 2 young children) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Reading prior reviews, we were worried about parking, but the owner had recently renovated the parking place, and so you could now comfortably park two SUV's. Pete is great to deal with as a host and is very responsive. The house was very spacious, has a big kitchen with all amenities and have spacious bedrooms. The house also had a lot of interesting books. The views from the living room and the bedroom were mind blowing. There are several walks from the house and lots of other attractions nearby. I would gladly recommend this to anyone and would visit again.

A lovely review of our property in Corris.. Thanks so much.. Really Appreciated! Due to the creation of the car parking area I was unable to offer holiday lettings for some time last year.. But we are back and online again now and provide a solution to the challenge of parking in our beautiful village of Corris Isygraig offers a peaceful elevated South facing location overlooking Corris and the valley. I will do my best to make your future holiday as good as the last one.. .. Thanks again. Pete Property Owner

  • "Lovely spacious cottage with fantastic views in a friendly village."

There are lots of steps and the roads are tight but this wasn't a problem for us, meant we could enjoy the view!

  • "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Is y Graig and found it very comfortable."

We made good use of the well equipped spacious kitchen. There certainly are alot of steps at this property but this seems only in keeping for this part of Wales. The views across the valley are beautiful and we enjoyed the walk from the doorstep passing the very curious Little Italy.

  • "Great stay and location was perfect for what we wanted!"

[being close to the Mach Loop] Will definitely be back! Only down was having to clean a bit on arrival. Floors were covered in bits. Vacuum didn’t work so had to do it all by hand with dustpan and brush. Kitchen also needed a bit of a wipe down! The property had everything we needed and was very comfy. Parking is a bit of an issue but we managed with the help of the very friendly neighbours. Felt like home by the time we left, didn’t want to leave! Can’t wait to come back!!

Thank you for your kind feedback. I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay. The vacuum has now been fixed. I am sorry for any inconvenience this caused you. I am always available for guests anytime if assistance required. Look forward to you staying again soon. Kind regards Property Owner

  • "Wonderful stay again at Isycraig, the views are stunning over the valley and there’s a lot to do in the area: centre for alternative technology, lots of great walks and the local railway, shop and pub are lovely too."

We always really enjoy ourselves, it’s a tonic.

  • "The listing was accurate over the 44 steps."

Not a problem if reasonably fit. Car parking a problem unless you own a fairly narrow vehicle. SUV's beware. Otherwise property listing was accurate and it was a very pleasant place to stay. Good countryside and plenty of good walking in near vicinity.

  • "Great holiday had by all, We went in February when there were loads of floods and the weather was really wet and windy."

This was a super place to relax And stay warm... Also had a great little pottery studio down the road (by car) The owner was always at the end of the phone when needed. And a lovely little shop just down the road. (Pub too but we didn’t visit so can’t comment) My only slight criticism is the parking is tight for big cars but wouldn’t put us off retuning.

  • "What an absolutely superb place to stay."

Pete(the owner) was fantastic and was always at the end of the phone if we had any questions. The local area is so picturesque and the locals are really friendly. The pub just down the road is a lovely place to go and relax with a nice drink and something to eat. The cottage is fantastic with everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable. The view from the lounge window is amazing and you could just sit there, listen to the birds and just while the hours away. Which we did a few times! It is a perfect location if you are keen on aviation, as it is a stones throw away from some great locations to capture pictures of fast jets!(They sometimes fly over the cottage!) We will definitely be returning as there is so much more we want to see and do around Corris and the surrounding areas. I would definitely recommend a stay here whether you are a keen walker, aviation fan or just fancy a chill in an amazing location. Thanks again Pete from an amazing stay.

  • "Generally the property was superb."

The shower was adequate but not brilliant due to being fed from the hot and cold water taps in the bath. It was difficult to control the temperature of the water. The bathroom was a long way from the bedrooms with a number of flights of stairs having to be negotiated in the night. Corris was a lovely little village and people were very friendly. Craft centre, Corris railway, Slaters Arms, shop and Church well worth visiting.

It wasn’t clear where to dry clothes. Overall, we had a lovely stay, it was a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay with tremendous views, lovely bit outside in the garden to sit and take it all in

  • "Very comfortable and spacious."

Bathroom, bedrooms and lounge all well furnished and had everything one would need. Kitchen spacious but could do with re-equipping in certain areas - not enough pans, some of which were burnt out and unusable. Poor knives.
