A lovely, stone built, 18th century character cottage situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, close to the centre of the pretty seaside resort of Barmouth. Containing much of its original character and located just 2 minutes’ walk from the nearby Blue Flag beach, this charming seaside retreat boasts a wealth of exposed oak beams, stripped oak floors and views over the harbour and beautiful Welsh mountains beyond. Providing a great base from which to enjoy this famous coastline and fabulous surrounding countryside, this cosy property offers delightful hill and coastal paths available from the doorstep, whilst the nearby cliffs offer stunning panoramic views of the Cader Idris mountains and of the bay below. A lovely property with plenty to offer all year round.

Shops and harbour 2 mins walk. Pubs/restaurants 1 min walk. Note: There are 8 steps up to the front door and 10 steps to the rear entrance.

Craig y Don was centrally located making it very convenient to purchase groceries. The rail line, church and pub were also a short walk. The owners were exceptional hosts. Barmouth is a beautiful area; we are so glad we chose this cottage.
