The historic town of Dolgellau and the renowned seaside resort of Towyn are both close by, offering a variety of good shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst the enormous blue flag sandy beach at Barmouth is also within easy reach. Enjoy boat trips, the coastal railway and magnificent scenery in every direction, or explore further afield to discover all the delights North Wales has to offer.

The Property

An attractive, 19th Century, stone built barn conversion adjoining the owner's home, beautifully set amidst the foothills of Mount Cader Idris, just a few hundred yards from the Minfford Path and 9 miles from Dolgellau. A stone's throw from the shores of Tal y Llyn Lake, this cosy property offers exposed beams, natural stone walls, an impressive inglenook fireplace, a hot tub/swimming spa pool and stunning views of the Cader Idris mountain range from the garden. The surrounding countryside offers great climbing, cycling and walking, with the magnificent Precipice Walk and famous Coed y Brenin Forest nearby. With the blue flag beach at Barmouth and the quaint market town of Dolgellau within easy reach, this is a great property for all the family!

Two bedrooms: 1 x kingsize double (zip & link - can be made into twin on request) with ensuite (shower, basin & WC), 1 x family room with 3 single beds & ensuite (bath with hand held shower, basin & WC). Traditional kitchen. Sitting room with dining area, single sofa bed & woodburner.

Free standing electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing wachine, colour TV with basic Satellite, video, DVD, small library of books/videos. Large hot tub/swimming spa available by arrangement with owner at charge of £10 per 40 min session (sessions by arrangement when owner is available). Highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars.
