This small market town is located in the heart of southern Snowdonia, between the imposing Cader Idris mountain range and the sea. It’s a superb base for a holiday - perfect for combining the many outdoor pursuits on offer in Snowdonia with relaxing days out on the soft sandy beaches of Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey. The town itself offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there are excellent restaurants in many of the nearby coastal resorts. A location for quiet outdoor recreation with superb scenery, mountains, forests, waterfalls, castles and beaches all close to hand, but without the crowds!

This Dolgellau cottage offers lovely views over the town and the magnificent Aran Mountain Range beyond. Offering light and airy modern accommodation including four bedrooms, comfortable sitting room, well-equipped kitchen and a conservatory which overlooks the rear lawned garden, this Snowdonia cottage is perfect for a family holiday. Dolgellau boasts a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and a golf course, plus the area surrounding the town has spectacular countryside with the famous Precipice Walk near by. This Snowdonia cottage is close to the start of the Mawddach bike trail and is only 3 miles from the renowned mountain bike centre at Coed y Brenin. Alternatively, for a fun day out the lovely beaches at Fairbourne and Barmouth, are less than 10 miles away. A wonderful Dolgellau cottage, which is bound to please, at any time of year.
