    I think this property works well as a B+B property. In the information it does state that the property is B+B /self catering, however it was not clear to me when I booked the property exactly what that meant. I wondered if the property was split into two areas and there was a separate part of the property which was used for B+B. I didn't realise from the description that the property is one house and part of the house is used by the owner and the other part is used for either B+B or self ...

Upstairs you will discover four spacious double bedrooms with sumptuous linen and a flat screen TV.

There are two en-suite shower rooms and a large bathroom with attractive roll-top bath and a large shower.

Prepare an evening meal in the delightful kitchen and then sit and relax in the sitting room, lighting the open fire for comfort.

On warm days, make use of the large terrace and admire the stunning views whilst rustling up a tasty barbecue.

The gardens slope gently downwards and are attractively laid to lawn with pretty flowerbeds.

The nearby bustling market town of Welshpool is surrounded by glorious unspoilt countryside.

The town has much to offer with shops selling local produce and reflecting the Welsh culture of the area.

Visit Powis Castle located within walking distance of the town and recognised as the best preserved castle and garden in Wales, or take a ride on the steam train for a taste of times gone by.

The local Welshpool flying school offers day classes or for something more down to earth, a trip to the elegant gardens of Glansevern Hall is well worth a visit.

The nearby Montgomery Canal is a great place for walkers, anglers and cyclists, just perfect to appreciate the wildlife and tranquillity of the Welsh Borderlands.

Montgomery and Shrewsbury are both within easy driving distance, and you are well placed to explore Mid Wales, taking in the sites of Snowdonia or Brecon Beacons National Parks or the stunning Cambrian Mountains.

The Mid Wales coast is just over an hour by car with lovely scenery, small market towns and pretty villages to admire along the way.
