Previous visitors' comments about Happy Union Stables:
Wonderfully warm welcome, Bara Brith loaf, butter and milk to make a pot of tea - just what we needed after our journey. The cottage is one of the best we have stayed in. Anyone visiting should make sure to visit The Hall in the village.

We have just returned from the most wonderful holiday ever in the Happy Union Stables in Abbey Cwm Hir. The cottage was superb! Everything one could wish for and more. We were welcomed by the owner's wife who had added the extra touches to her welcome with home made cake and flowers on our arrival. Absolutely wonderful! I have a mobility problem but I was looked after with care and without condescension. We were welcomed by the whole village and felt like friends. Thanks to all.

A good area to stay; plenty of places to visit without traveling too far.

Happy Union Stables was relaxing and quiet. Lovely flowers and a home made bara brith was left by the owner.
