The spacious sitting room can be a peaceful haven to relax and unwind in, or open it out through the lovely French doors into the dining area and kitchen so all the family can enjoy each others company while the chefs in your party are hard at work! A spacious double bedroom with a TV, another smaller double bedroom and a twin bedroom are perfect for restful nights, plus the well-appointed bathroom completes the accommodation at this lovely Llanilar cottage. A secluded patio at the rear is perfect for a relaxing drink or al fresco dining. The pretty village of Llanilar lies on the banks of the river Ystwyth with a traditional pub and a very well stocked shop selling some wonderful local produce. The choice of walks and cycle rides in the area is superb, whether you start right from the doorstep or venture a little further to the Cardiganshire coastline or the Cambrian Mountains. With Aberystwyth just 6 miles away, you can enjoy the promenade, the museum and much more and then take a Steam Railway ride on the Rheildol narrow gauge railway to the outstanding Devil's Bridge waterfalls. There are excellent birdwatching opportunities at nearby reserves including Ynys Hir, home of the BBC Springwatch programme, plus the wonderful Cardiganshire coastline beckons you to enjoy coastal walks, lazy days on the beaches and wildlife spotting on various boat trips.
