The nearby Coed Hafod Walk provides 9 miles of historical routes through a variety of different woodlands, which overflow with wildlife and lovely views, while only 5 miles away is Devil’s Bridge, renowned for its three old bridges, spectacular waterfalls and as the end station for the spectacular Vale of Rheidol Light Railway, which is a steam train to the coast at Aberystwyth. Tregaron Bog is just five miles away and is renowned for wildlife and walking. The Rheidol Valley itself offers wonderful walking and biking terrain plus bird watching including the elusive red kite. This is the ideal village location for those looking to explore the nearby areas, and the rest of Wales beyond.
