  • "We had an amazing week at The Boat House."

We had 3 generations of our family staying as well as our dog. The weather was kind to us, so we made great use of the deck and garden, which is really well equipped. The indoor space is much bigger than we expected, so it was easy to find a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of family life if needed. The location is ideal too - great access to all major routes and a perfect, private spot overlooking the River Dee. After a day out exploring, it was lovely to come back and cook a meal as the kitchen is well appointed and the dining space was really social. The football table, sauna and loungers were well used too. A big thank you to Emilian for quick responses to any questions we asked during our stay. A week of bliss and a great place for our family to get together and catch up - we'll definitely be back!

Dear guest, thank you for this amazing feedback. We are very pleased your family and dog had such a good stay at the Boathouse. We can't wait to welcome you back. Warm regards, Elisabeth Property Owner

  • "Perfect holiday, perfect house , perfect location."

One suggestion , because we had all audults, a pool table instead of the table football would have been great. Only a personal preference.

Dear guest, thank you for your beautiful feedback -we are happy to hear you had a perfect holiday. A pool table is a nice idea, perhaps something we will add in the future, hope to welcoming you back! Warm regards, Elisabeth Property Owner

  • "Loved being by the river and all the space in the property."

We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and really appreciated the bottle of wine and the tray of teas and coffees, etc. A suggestion. We felt it would be better to have the double beds in the rooms with the en-suites and the twins sharing the family bathroom with the single room.

Dear guest, Thanks for your feedback, always a pleasure to hear guests enjoyed their stay. And thank you for the suggestion, we will take this in concideration. Looking forward to welcome you back at the Boathouse, Elisabeth Property Owner

  • "The house was perfect for our family gathering, with lots to do for the four year old, and a great kitchen/dining room for the cooks in the family."

The location could not have been better for us, with quick access to the airport, to the great Aberdeenshire outdoors, and to the city. We had a wonderful week; Emilian and his crew could not have been friendlier or more helpful. I hope we can stay there again in the future.

Dear guest, what lovely feedback, thank you! We are happy to hear you had such a nice time at the Boathouse. Emelian and the team are amazing, thank you for mentioning them. We can't wait to welcome you back, Elisabeth. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful house in a gorgeous setting."

Owner left a nice welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. Some issues with the bathroom situation however, the twin room has a bathroom with no door which we found to be very disconcerting and the two double rooms shared a bathroom which only had a hand held shower in the bath. Would be beneficial to have more pots and pans as we had to cook for eight people and was found this difficult to do with what was provided. Would love to return in the future but probably with less people given the bathroom situation.

Dear guests, Many thanks for your feedback. As always this is important to us and helps us to make your future stay even more relaxing. Of course, some changes are easier to make then others, but we will certainly try and look forward to welcoming to back. Warm regards, Elisabeth Property Owner

  • "Super private large house with huge garden and literally feet away from the River Dee."

We were a family of five adults and for the duration of the week we didn't want for anything. The kitchen had enough crockery, glasses, cutlery and more to make our time there extremely comfortable. We were pretty lucky with the weather, I can imagine this house would be spectacular in the Summer months and a house you would really enjoy spending the evenings there due to its setting, its privacy and huge patio complete with mobile BBQ. I think children and dogs would absolutely love it there and like the adults they are both catered for from what we saw. I really cannot find any negatives with this place. If I had to produce one at a push, then it would be up that the floorboards are pretty squeaky throughout and as an early riser, I had to call upon all my years of Military training to not disturb the others as I went down for my coffee. I enjoyed the challenge each morning of finding new paths!! You really will enjoy this house. Thank you to the owners. You have a great holiday home.

Dear guest, Thank you so much for your lovely feedback, reading you had a nice stay at the Boathouse makes us very happy. We are glad to learn you enjoyed your morning routine and looking forward to welcome you back in the future! Warm regards, Elisabeth and Leo Property Owner

Fantastic that the property was pet friendly and baby friendly with all the essential provided. A few wee snags within the property need attention but they never put a dampner on the week. Will definitely look to rebook in the future

Dear guest, We are delighted to hear you have had a lovely stay at the Boathouse and we are very happy to hear we made it also a good experience for you little one! • "The house was amazing."

So comfortable and spacious and we loved the Sauna. In the smaller double, with the en-suite, we needed a door on the loo and a blind on the window for full comfort and we couldn’t get the shower to go hot. Everyone else had a faultless stay and we just loved it. Thank you.

Dear guest, First of all, we are very happy to hear you had a lovely stay at the Boathouse. Your feedback is important and much appreciated. We have ordered black out blinds for the second twin bed room, are looking into a solution for the bathroom door and asked an engineer to check the hot water facilities in this bathroom. Thank you so much and looking forward to welcome you back in the future. Warm regards, Elisabeth Property Owner
