With accommodation over two floors, this Tomintoul cottage has three comfortable bedrooms with a double on the ground floor. The sitting room has a welcoming open fire and leads to a spacious and well-equipped fitted kitchen, whilst to the rear, the large utility room is an ideal place to leave outdoor clothing and walking boots after a day’s activities. The small courtyard at the rear of this cottage in Tomintoul provides a private place for a quiet drink and relaxation. The pretty village square in Tomintoul offers good local services with a choice of pubs and small shops on your doorstep. Tomintoul is located on the Glenlivet Estate and is often referred to as the “Gateway to the Cairngorms National Park”. It is perfectly placed for exploring the distilleries that form the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail, many of which are open to visitors and have excellent visitor centres. Grantown-on-Spey is a short drive away from this Cairngorms cottage and offers an excellent selection of shops and dining out opportunities. Aviemore is also easy accessible and is simply bursting with activities and thrills for all ages throughout the year. This Tomintoul cottage is a perfect holiday location for all, with plenty to see and do.
