The village of Kinloss is situated in the county of Morayshire, well-known for its mild climate, stunning countryside and coastline. Famous as having been home to RAF Kinloss, the village has good local services and is surrounded by pretty open countryside, and once was home to the Cisterian Kinloss Abbey dating from 1150, the ruins remain today. Kinloss is conveniently located to a host of pretty towns and villages and is within easy access to Findhorn Bay, Burghead Bay and the fabulous Culbin Forest all great places for walks, cycles, wildlife and watersports, plus the stunning beaches in the area are long and clean. Morayshire is home to the Malt Whisky Trail and a little whisky tasting will certainly be easy with so many distilleries on your doorstep.
Something a bit different - this stone tower shaped cottage is located in pretty open countryside and provides very comfortable accommodation over three floors. Forming part of an original steading, this Kinloss cottage has been thoughtfully constructed and offers guests a unique holiday experience. Situated next to the owners’ home on the outskirts of Kinloss village, this Morayshire cottage would suit a family or perhaps two couples. There are two bedrooms, a twin on the second floor and a double on the first floor, plus also on the first floor at this Kinloss cottage is a shower room and a small and cosy sitting area. On the ground floor, you will find a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious sitting room with dining area and double doors that lead out to the garden. The village of Kinloss benefits from a local shop, pub, petrol station and golf club, which is open to visitors. If you fancy a cycle in the nearby Culbin Forest, then just mention this to the owners who will be happy to provide bikes for your enjoyment. This Kinloss cottage is so close to wonderful beaches, interesting villages and historical towns that you will be spoilt for choice, but make sure you allow time to relax in your very own tower!

Friendliness of the owner. Very kind, giving fresh eggs and always there to help. Nice to get milk in fridge. House was spotless.

My family and I recently stayed in The Steading Tower. We were delighted with the house; everything you
could need was there. Lovely and clean, great location. As for the owner - a real gent what a great man; he made the holiday for our two kids. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for something a bit special. We will be back!
