We were very much impressed by the warm welcome received, and the freshly laid eggs left in the traditional country cottage kitchen were a nice touch! The beautifully landscaped gardens, with trampoline and friendly family dog make you feel like it's a home from home. Our 3 year old loved the setting, and often asks to go back! We have promised her that we will as we all enjoyed the beautifully decorated Cottage and our stay so much. If we could swap our life in the city for the perfect country get-a-way, we would pick this beautifully finished cottage...
Swaffham 5 miles; Dereham 6 miles; Norwich 22 miles.
The thriving village of Necton is situated at the heart of Norfolk, between the market towns of Swaffham and Dereham and hosts a welcoming pub with restaurant, a village store with butchers and a post office, whilst an impressive Norman church dominates the village and boasts a beautiful carved oak communion table dating back to 1086 and a wonderful Jacobean pulpit. Visit Bradenham Hall, a fine Georgian house with over 27 acres of beautiful gardens and arboretum, reputed to have been visited by Lord Nelson, or enjoy the infamous Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coastal Path, offering 93 tranquil miles of picturesque Norfolk countryside closeby, great for walking, cycling and horse riding. The pretty market town of Dereham is just 6 miles away offering a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants and a local farmers' market every fortnight. Plenty to see and do in this lovely location.

Lovely cottage that was well situated for getting out and about and exploring Norfolk. Nice and quiet location that was great for us all to relax.
Mr Burman, Grays, August 2010
The cottage owners were very friendly and helpful. Lovely area and some great places to walk the dogs and cycle, particularly nearby Thetford forest.
Ms Hatton, Wirral, June 2010
A beautiful cottage that had everything you could possibly think of needing. The owners were extremely helpful and always at hand for any queries. Certainly a 'home from home' experience.
Mrs Gallacher, St. Neots, June 2010
We were made to feel very welcome, and certainly like it was a home from home. It was by far the best family holiday we have had. Our daughter is 3 1/2 and she was perfectly happy running through the grounds, bouncing on the trampoline, playing with the dog and petting the horse. I would very highly recommend this cottage, the photos do not do it justice! Thank you!
