Our stay here in August was our 2nd stay at this wondeful cottage. We were so impressed the 1st time we came back. The cottage was exceptionally clean, the furnishings lovely. We had the full use of a utility room with washer ,dryer, clothes maiden, freezer. The situation of the Little Lodge was very pleasant with lots of wildlife on the doorstep. A good centre for visiting the Norfolk coast and not far from the Park and Ride for the city of Norwich,we even ventured into Suffolk visiting Bressingham Gardens. Best of all were the owners who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The welcome pack was extensive.Replacement towels and bed linen were readily available. There was lots of DVDs to watch in the evenings. We would highly recommend this cottage. Mr and Mrs N Sharpe
Dereham 3 miles.
Bylaugh is a tiny hamlet with a Saxon round towered church, nestling by the River Wensum, located between the villages of Swanton Morley and Bawdeswell. Both villages, each 1.5 miles away, have village stores and public houses with restaurants. Swanton Morley also has a butcher’s/delicatessen and village bakery. The large market town of Dereham offers an array of shops and supermarkets, a sports centre, cinema, church, museums, and the Mid Norfolk Heritage Railway. A traditional weekly market is held on Tuesday and Friday in the market square. The city of Norwich with its bars, restaurants, cathedral and castle, is 16 miles. There is plenty of walking, fishing and cycling in the area, which is within reasonable driving distance of Sandringham, the Norfolk Showground or even the glorious coastline.

Previous visitors' comments about Little Lodge 2:
The peace and quiet of our locality. The owners were very friendly and polite. We were central to most places of interest in Norfolk.
Mr Whitaker, Bradford, August 2010
We couldn't fault the cottage in any way. It was always a pleasure to return there after a day out. The owners were extremely kind and helpful. We were even treated to a punnet of freshly gathered cherries from the garden! The outlook onto the fields and garden was absolutely lovely.
Mrs Eley, Grange-over-Sands, July 2010
Weather was excellent. The location excellent and the welcome was first class.
Mr & Mrs Jones, Littlehampton, July 2010
It was one of the best cottages that we have stayed in; lovely quiet location; plenty of walking and birdwatching, even a fox went past the kitchen window while I was cooking breakfast!
