Just about impossible to fault this place. Well equiped and located, clean and tidy. Excellent open fire. Could not have wanted more.

The large village of Briston is situated in North Norfolk and offers an excellent local store, a village post office, a good bakery and a superb butcher's shop, in addition to two pubs, a sports playing field and a large village green. Located in a wonderfully central position, the village provides a good base from which to explore the surrounding area, with the historic Georgian market town of Holt, with its tempting tea rooms and enjoyable shops just a five minute drive away and Blakeney coastal nature reserve, with its fantastic bird spotting opportunities, just a 15 minute drive away. So whether it’s boat trips and seal spotting around the coast, a day exploring some of the many historic towns in the area or a day at the seaside resort of Sheringham, this lovely location has lots to see and do.

A charming detached cottage dating from the 17th Century, in the quiet village of Briston, 4 miles from Holt. Hollyhedge Cottage offers very cosy, comfortable accommodation, including a sitting room with low ceiling, exposed beams and open fireplace so characteristic of country cottages. The established garden at Hollyhedge Cottage is ideal for relaxing, with two sitting areas and a summer house. The area is ideal for walks in the surrounding countryside, or for visiting the coast or beautiful Norfolk Broads.
Three bedrooms: 1 x ground floor single, 1 x double, 1 x twin (accessed via double bedroom). Ground floor bathroom with bath, basin & WC. Fitted kitchen. Sitting room with beamed ceiling, dining area and open fire.
Heating from electric heaters with additional heating from open fire in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, colour TV, video, DVD player, stereo/CD player etc. Electricity and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Established enclosed lawned garden with two patios, furniture and BBQ. Off road parking for 2 cars. One well behaved pet welcome at £10 per week. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 10 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk.

Lovely comfy cottage, equipped to a very high standard. Garden was great as we had a dog and was totally enclosed with patio furniture. Some lovely walks around the village so didn't have to always use car!
