The neighbouring hamlets of Grimston, Roydon and Congham provide a selection of good pubs, whilst nearby Middleton Hall Golf Club welcomes visitors to its magnificent 18 hole course. Explore the majestic, 12th Century Castle Rising, built by William II and modelled on the keep at Norwich Castle, or take a short drive to Babingley River, a haven for nature lovers with its fascinating circular walk. The Visitor Centre at the Queen’s fabulous country retreat Sandringham is a mere 5 miles away and well worth a visit, whilst the medieval port town of King's Lynn, with its quaint, winding streets, provides a host of shops, pubs and restaurants. The pretty resort town of Hunstanton, renowned for its sunsets and lovely beaches is also within easy reach, making this a holiday destination to savour.
