  • "Stud cottage is a fabulous & beautiful place to stay."

The highest of quality touches including the furniture, everything has been thought of for a wonderful stay. Even the added extras such as cleaning products, dishwasher/washing tabs etc… Beautiful views of the countryside, with the horses in the nearby paddocks. Its an extremely quiet ‘get away from it all’ place. Owner Lin was on hand but not intrusive. Near to Norwich (near to the airport park and ride), Cromer, Sheringham and Wroxham for the broads! So glad we chose to spend our Xmas break at stud cottage and would not hesitate to recommend to all and will definitely book again. Thank you for making us so welcome and for the little treats left for us

  • "We recommend 1 Stud Cottage highly."

It is good for couples and/or family getaway. It is in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Norwich. We would give it 5 Stars. It was immaculately clean and had everything you need for a relaxing stay. The wet room is fantastic, there was ample wardrobe space in the main bedroom which is huge, three TV’s and a log burner (which we did not use), the kitchen/living room was a great space and the cooking facilities were excellent. The owner Lyn was very nice, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay if we visit the area again.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, I do not get any information if there is a disabled person in the party otherwise, I would tell people what is there and what they need to bring. I have now included this in my guest information sheet. Property Owner

Had a lovely peaceful week. My one criticism would be the hall light which works on a censor. If you needed to get up at night it would come on then you would suddenly be plunged into darkness! Had to make sure you had the bedroom light on. Not enough to ruin the stay though. Thank you

Great access for able bodied and disabled guests. Well positioned for easy driving to both the coast and the towns/cities of Norfolk. The owner, Lin, is extremely friendly and accommodating, a lovely person. There is lots of wildlife on your doorstep including kingfishers, herons, multiple other birds, rabbits, deer and much more. • "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

Lovely, clean, comfortable and very well appointed cottage. The washing machine/washing line was really useful. The logburner was a joy - wood kindly provided by the owner. The facilities suited our mobility needs very well - it is rare to find a property with a wet room. The private parking is gravelled, which was a slight challenge for wheelchair use but was not insurmountable. Take care not to mount the paving slabs with a vehicle - they are not load bearing. When the fridge is next replaced, it would be worth getting one with a small freezer box, but again, not the world's end. Overall - loved it! Many thanks for creating such a charming cottage that accommodates the needs of those with mobility issues both discreetly and stylishly.

Everything one would need for a superb self catering holiday. Only constructive criticism is that due to limitations of space there was no freezer which was explained by the owner Lin when we queried directions and entry requirements. Full sky tv service included and wi-fi if the weather meant staying indoors. All brand new kitchen facilities except as noted, with a fantastic induction hob and double oven. Twin beds with excellent mattresses but we did not use main bedroom which other reviewers have noted has a rather soft mattress. All linens and towels of good quality. Highly recommended.
