Look out for the kingfishers which regularly fly along the waterfront and you may even spot the local heron that is on the lookout for titbits! The Norfolk Broads are a nature lover’s heaven, with vast stretches of waterways and peaceful canals. Spend your holiday exploring the stunning countryside by boat, by foot or by bike along the Weaver’s Way, a 56 mile trail that winds through the Broads. Wroxham is often known as the “Capital of the Broads” and is a hive of activity with a multitude of rivercraft and a bustling village centre with independent shops, cafes and tea rooms. Just eight miles from Wroxham is historic Norwich, famous for its cathedrals, castle and fabulous shopping facilities, whilst a short drive brings you to the North Norfolk coast, with beautiful sandy beaches at Overstrand and Mundesley as well as the popular resort towns of Cromer and Sheringham.
