About the location

King's Lynn

Sandringham 9 miles; Hunstanton 15 miles.

King's Lynn is an historic, medieval port dating back to the 12th century, situated on the River Great Ouse. A treasure trove for history lovers, the town boasts grand merchant houses, art galleries and museums, while the Custom House, built by Henry Bell in 1683, is home to a special display of the maritime history of King's Lynn, as well as the Tourist Information Centre. The town retains its original, winding streets and alleys and boasts good shopping facilities, with a combination of national retailers and specialist shops, along with a selection of pubs and restaurants. Much of the surrounding Norfolk countryside is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the West Norfolk coastline within easy driving distance. Hunstanton, in particular, is renowned for its sunsets and lovely beaches. Boat trips are available from several points along the coast, while the Norfolk Coast Cycleway runs from King's Lynn to Cromer. The impressive Visitor Centre at The Queen's fabulous country retreat, Sandringham, is also a short drive away and well worth a visit.

I would be proud to own this property. A peaceful place with everything you could need, and within easy reach of a wide variety of interests.

Mrs Herring, Loughborough, July 2013

The cabin was everything we hoped it would be. The fruit and flowers was such a lovely touch. Everything was beautifully clean and tidy. We had a really lovely break at Karma Lodge, having good weather helped of course but everything was there that you needed. Perfect! We would go back without a doubt.

Mr Bourne, Gravesend, June 2013

Everything was exactly as described and we enjoyed our visit to Karma Lodge very much. We were made to feel very welcome in the residents' club house and by our neighbours from the start.

Mr Stretton, Burton-on-trent, May 2013

It was a fantastically well equipped log cabin, very peaceful and comfortable. The welcome gift reflected the high quality of the property.

Mrs Shapcott, Holt, October 2012
