The bustling market town of Bala lies within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and is located at the head of Llyn Tegid, Bala’s famous lake, which is the largest natural lake in Wales and home to a unique fish called the Gwyniaid, a relic of the Ice Age. Renowned as a centre for great watersports including fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and white water rafting, Bala is also the headquarters of the narrow gauge Bala Lake Railway. The town itself is steeped in history and has a range of interesting shops, inns and restaurants, and an historical Town Walk. Surrounded by the wonderful Berwyn Mountains on one side and the beautiful Snowdonia Mountain Range on the other, this is a mecca for climbing, walking, mountain biking and many other outdoor activities. An ideal location for touring all North and Mid Wales including the stunning Cambrian Bay Coast with the six-mile long Harlech beach, overlooked by its majestic medieval castle. The Property

Bala 3 miles. This is a delightful end terrace, stone built, barn conversion cottage located on a 220 acre farm in the foothills of the Berwyn Mountains. This Bala cottage is ideal for a cosy romantic break as it has a double bedroom and an open plan living area with modern furnishings and access to a front patio with garden furniture, ideal for taking in the last of the evening’s sun as it sets over the beautiful Mount Arenig. With easy access to the watersports centre of Bala, this cottage is bound to please anyone with a taste for adventure. There is a 1.5 mile farm walk from the doorstep, as well as stunning mountainous countryside all around. With so much to see and do from this Bala cottage, you will want to return time after time. Note: This cottage can be booked with refs 2826 and 9425 and together they can accommodate 10 people.
