The property

A wonderful end of terrace cottage commanding an elevated position close to the town centre of Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Situated right in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, this cottage enjoys superb views to the front over the town, Cwmbowydd Valley and towards the Moelwyn and Rhinogydd mountain ranges beyond.

Lovingly refurbished by its owner, this super cottage offers comfy accommodation to a very good standard and is deceptively spacious for a cottage with accommodation arranged over three floors.

Providing the perfect base for exploring the wild and rugged landscapes and stunning scenery of North Wales this cottage will suit couples and friends, keen walkers, cyclists, outdoor enthusiasts or a family.

The cottage exudes warmth, and is tastefully furnished throughout with a touch of elegance and style about it.

Some lovely original features have been maintained such as the alcove cupboards in the dining area, beams and slate window sills.

The sitting room is fresh with subtle shades of grey and soft tones of cream, two comfy sofas and a warming gas living-flame fire provides a great place for everyone to sit, chat and relax after a busy day walking and exploring.

The dining area with subdued lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a sit down meal together and the kitchen with modern cream units and wood block worktops is well-equipped for all your needs.

Upstairs are three bedrooms, a king-size with wonderful elevated views towards the Moelwyn mountain range and a twin room to the first floor and an eaves double to the second floor with wall-mounted TV.

A beautifully-appointed bathroom with a separate shower and a bath, perfect for a long soak and a bit of pampering after a day on the mountains, nothing quite like it to soothe those aching muscles, completes this delightful cottage.

Outside your cottage is a front garden with furniture, an ideal spot for enjoying the sunny aspect, watching the sun set behind the mountains or enjoying a glass of something on those balmy summer evenings.

Local shops, restaurants and pubs are within a five minute walk from the doorstep, perhaps a little longer on the way back as its uphill from the road.

There is fantastic access to Snowdonia which offers wonderful walking opportunities and mountain bike tracks to explore.

Blaenau Ffestiniog is home to a host of adrenaline-fuelled activities at Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Zip World Titan (the largest zip zone in Europe), Zip World Caverns and Bounce Below (deep mine zip wires and the largest underground system of trampolines in the world!) are all located here.

For something a little less energetic, the well-known Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam railway is also close by and will be loved by all.

A little further afield, why not visit the Italian village and gardens of Portmeirion, together with historic castles and sandy beaches all within a 20 minute drive away?

The cottage is ideally placed from the mountains to the sea, providing a great base for holidaying anytime of the year.
