It was a lovely house to stay in, spacious, very comfortable including the beds and immaculately clean and maintained and tastefully furnished. The kitchen was very well equipped for self catering. Andrea was very friendly and made us feel very welcome and left us a much appreciated tray of goodies and with milk, butter and juices in the fridge as well. We enjoyed using the hot tub which was lovely and warm and easy to use. The house was in a good position, quite central for going in any direction and we found lots of interesting places to go to without travelling huge distances. Both the scenery of Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula was spectacular. Tip: when the rain threatens inland in the mountains, the Peninsula is often dryer and sunnier ... we found it so anyway! Thank you Andrea, we had a very enjoyable week.

The property is stunning, extremely clean with beautiful decor and has everything you need to make your self contained holiday special. The surrounding views and stunning sunsets all add to its beauty. The kitchen is well equipped to cook anything with a lovely welcome pack and an ample choice of shops close by. A very sociable property with a superb log burner. Washing machine, tumble dryer and the washing line that we used. Home from home. We were lucky to climb Snowdon (Llanberis Path)and enjoy its outstanding views and scenery (there is always the train if needed) followed by a much needed soak in the hot tub (towels provided). The stars and shooting stars were amazing. The Goat Inn is a must for Sunday lunch, taxi there and we walked back along the disused railway line. Visit Caernarfon and check out the local butchers. It’s well worth driving the coast taking in the Llyn Peninsula, Porthdinllaen, Morfa Nefyn and Abersoch. Enjoy the quaint Welsh village of Betws-y-Coed and take in the lake walk in a glacial bowl at Cwm Idwal. We finished with Beddgelert, Aberglaslyn and Bryn Du, an amazing National Trust walk, but take a picnic for the top so you can absorb the stunning views including Snowdon. The property ticks all the boxes as do the hosts Andrea, Huw and family. Nothing is too much trouble. Over and above the usual. A beautiful home to holiday in. Thank you so much. G&C P&D.

  • "Well, We have nothing but love for this holiday home, and Andrea (the host) what such a lovely and pleasant lady, who literally made it feel like our home for the week."

We were the second family to stay since lockdown restrictions were eased in Wales. The house is just over a year old and was spotless, (even had a fresh paint of coat inside!). Andrea and her husband have thought of everything... washer, dryer, dishwasher, double oven, spacious rooms, log fire. It literally was a luxury to stay here! The children loved playing the games that are provided, and the welcome pack was such a great touch. Milk in the fridge so we literally could relax from the moment we walked in! We were given Andreas mobile number a week before we arrived, so I text to ask if she could recommend a local place to deliver afternoon tea, and when we got there Andrea was on hand to meet us, and was able to recommend a Chinese for the evening. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Andrea. She came to check the hot tub and would stop and have a chat with us. We literally felt like she was our friend, never once made us feel uneasy. I’ve holidayed in North Wales when I was young, and the people we came with us haven’t. They always go to Devon, but have fallen in love with North Wales just as much as I did. We visited Llandbedrog beach (this is a sun trap, with stream for the children to play, cafe and toilets) and popped into Abersoch village after. (Vaynol arms perfect for a little tipple) Dinas Dille beach is close, but very open and windy. We had a visit to Trefor beach. (An old fishing village). The beach is small and quiet and full of lovely views and friendly fishermen - ideal for crabbing. We had a walk around Caernarfon and had a bite to eat at The Anglesey pub. Great views across to Anglesey. Also a small play area opposite The Black Boy pub, which is lovely too. Caernarfon harbour was perfect for crabbing (again recommended by Andrea), and not to worry if you don’t have any crabbing stuff. Kits are available to buy at the shop near the carpark entrance. Morfa Nyfen is another little hidden gem. We walked through the golf course and to the Ty Coch Inn pub. When the tide is out you can walk over to Nyfen beach and round. Again, beautiful views. I never really write reviews, but I haven’t even thought twice about leaving this one. We were lucky to watch the sunset from the cottage. It set just near the gate over the valley. It was amazing! And of course we just loved the hot tub. I could go on forever about this property. It truly is the perfect holiday home... so perfect that we’ve just booked to return...

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous so clean, tidy and spacious. It had everything we needed for our stay, including a breakfast pack. The view from the cottage is beautiful and the hot tub was amazing, it was already heated before we got there and it was so relaxing to be in even in the October weather. Andrea the owner was so lovely and welcoming, she recommended places to eat and things to do before we even got there. My friend mentioned it was my birthday and she came to the cottage the next morning with two bottles of Prosecco; which was such a lovely gesture. I cannot recommend this cottage enough and would 100% return for another stay.

  • "Fantastic weekend break, celebrating our friends 40th birthday."

The cottage exceeded our expectations, such a beautiful house, with amazing views of the sea. The cottage was immaculate, linen and towels provided. Towels also provided for use of the hot tub. The owner was extremely helpful, such a lovely lady who welcomed us upon arrival. She provided the essential supplies for breakfast, including coffee, eggs, bread, butter, orange juice, not forgetting the welsh cakes. A lovely touch. The hot tub was fantastic and enjoyed by all. The owner also provided us with details of a local pub, the goat inn, a taxi is a must, not within walking distance, Served lovely food, but booking is essential. There is also a vineyard about a mile down the road, serving food etc. Would most definitely return, cannot recommend enough. Thankyou for such a lovely, relaxing weekend!

The house is very will laid out, clean, neat and tidy. Andrea and her husband have really put a lot of thought of all the little extras a person needs whilst holidaying. Andrea is very accommodating and is on hand to help if need be. There are stunning views from every window you look out of, gorgeous sunsets over the ocean and beautiful views of the hills. Hot tub was fantastic. All in all a very good holiday base to go touring around North Wales, plenty to do and visit.
