"Surroundings said it all!!"

We received a great service. The cottage itself was beautiful with lots of character. The hosts helpful. Views from cottage were stunning. The use of the outdoor swimming pool was exciting but very unfortunately the weather meant it was far too cold to use-the girls were very disappointed!! The lane you use to get to the cottage is long and only wide enough for one car so if you meet a car coming out as we did on our arrival you have to reverse all the way back to the road!!(inexperienced drivers may find this difficult or off-putting)

Mrs Jeffries, Stockport, December 2009

Location: Bodfari Near Denbigh

Denbigh 5 miles; Ruthin 10 miles.

The small village of Bodfari is peacefully located in the lovely Vale of Clwyd, beneath the imposing Clwydian Hill Range. Steeped in history, the village has taken on many roles, such as a Celtic camp in 500 BC and a Roman Encampment, while the original Church of St Stephen pre-dates the Norman Conquest. Today, this pleasant village is home to a welcoming local shop, whilst the surrounding area boasts a range of good country pubs and eateries. The Offa's Dyke pathway is easily accessible from the village and the ancient market town of Denbigh, with its celebrated 13th Century Castle and pretty streets littered with shops, pubs and restaurants, is just 5 miles away. Endless, beautiful countryside surrounds this lovely area, which offers excellent walking, nature and bird watching opportunities. This is a wonderful base from which to explore the whole of North Wales.

Mr Watkins, Stockport, August 2010

It was like a piece of heaven in Wales. The owners were most welcoming and friendly. The gardens were beautiful and peaceful. I couldn't have asked for more. The photos of the property do not do this place justice, I was astounded at how beautiful it was.
Mrs Davenport, Birmingham, July 2010

Just a perfect garden and so much space! Ideal family retreat. Felt safe for both children and dog. The hosts were very friendly and relaxed. Did not want to leave and will definitely come back.
