Meillionydd House Cottages
Penygroes 3 miles. Meillionydd House is a large detached property, formerly a farmhouse, which has been extended over the years to essentially provide four separate dwellings. Each cottage enjoys its own separate entrance, heating system and garden area. These delightful cottages provide comfortable accommodation for a carefree stay, situated in an elevated position close to the hilltop village of Y Fron, three miles from Penygroes and just six miles from Caernarfon. These four charming properties provide a convenient, relaxing base that are ideal for couples, groups of friends and families who wish to spend time together exploring Snowdonia and other wonderful parts of North Wales. From the approach through twin timber gates is a large slate gravelled off road parking and turning area sufficient for several vehicles, and the shared more formal gardens in this vicinity consist of a lawn, paved patios and pathways with a number of attractive flowerbeds to the borders, each of which lead to the individual cottage entrances. The position of Meillionydd is quite dramatic in its setting, surrounded by countryside and fields with amazing views from most rooms of the Eifl Mountains and the Nantlle Valley and ridge that lead towards Snowdon. There are also some inspiring walks from each cottage through dramatic and beautiful landscapes. The award-winning sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle is a short drive away and offers three miles of gently sloping shoreline, sand dunes and rock pools, perfect for a family day out. Four lovely holiday homes that you will want to return to year after year.
