This rural Welsh village is in a lovely location overlooking the Llantysilio Mountain Range, perfect to enjoy good walking and cycling, and the village is also only 3 miles from the pretty tourist town of Llangollen, internationally famous for its Musical Eisteddfod. Explore the beautiful green Dee Valley by steam train or canal boat, or take an exhilarating walk up to Castell Dinas Bran, high above the town, to enjoy the breathtaking view. Llangollen offers a good range of pubs, restaurants, many interesting shops and excellent watersports, including white water rafting and canoeing. The National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig are within easy driving distance, while a day-long car trail can take you to visit six of the 'Seven Wonders of Wales'. Offa's Dyke Path passes nearby and offers pleasant walking along the crest of the Clwyd hills, the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is 5 miles away, and Snowdonia is less than an hour's drive.

Wonderful views from front garden. Food at nearby 'Britannia Inn' is excellent and canal trips from Llangollen are worth doing.
