About the location

Eglwysbach

Conwy 5 miles; Llandudno 8 miles; Betws-y-Coed 12 miles.

The village of Eglwysbach is in the wonderful Conwy Valley, which is renowned for its beautiful countryside, scenic walks and the world famous Bodnant Gardens. Nearby Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is one of Britain's most unspoiled historic towns. A true medieval gem, the town is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls - fortified with 21 towers and three gateways, the walls form an almost unbroken shield around the old town. There's plenty to enjoy in Conwy - the picturesque fishing harbour, National Trust's Aberconwy House, Britain's "smallest house" (worth an interesting, if quick, visit!) as well as the town's shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by are good beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking in Snowdonia and the surrounding hills.

The views were stunning and so was the cottage! Very friendly owners who were very helpful. The cottage was truly marvellous, clean, spacious and a lot of thought has been put in every little detail. The towels were great too! The Christmas decorations were such a nice touch. We will definitely come back here!

Mrs Sherlock, Sale, December 2013

The warm welcome and outstanding accommodation made for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday which is what we all needed. Plenty of room with superb furnishings and decor made this property stand out from others we have stayed in. I have already recommended this property to family and friends who are looking to holiday in North Wales. The owner is so welcoming and the added extras made it all worthwhile. We will definitely return to stay at this property. Four stars is not enough this should be listed as a five star. Thank you for a great time :)

Mrs Barlow, Leicester, September 2013

All in all, this is a property that has been designed and built to the highest standards by thoughtful perfectionists, in a stunning location ideally situated for access to the mountain walking of the Snowdonia National Park. Go there, you won't regret it.

Mr Brown, Pulborough, September 2013

This cottage is a beautiful, modern, barn conversion. The cottage is lovely and quiet with beautiful views. The overall decor, furniture and fixtures and fittings were all first rate. My son said it was fantastic, much better than home! We had a really lovely week here and would definitely return.
