The beautiful beaches at Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth are close by, as are the bustling towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog. This mid-terraced Snowdonia cottage, dating back to 1850, is the original bakery in the village of Trawsfynydd, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. This character property has been sympathetically renovated to provide modern living accommodation, centred around the original large inglenook Welsh slate hearth with exposed brickwork and multi-fuel stove in the sitting room. Llyn Trawsfynydd is two minutes walk from this Snowdonia cottage, and is a perfect lake for the keen fishermen. This Snowdonia cottage offers an ideal getaway for family or friends, at any time of the year.

The whole holiday was brilliant and the area offered plenty to do for adults, a teenage boy and a 7 year old boy. We went quad biking, went down the mines, visited castles, Snowdon and the beautiful beach at Harlech. The cottage was to a very high standard and we would definitely recommend it, it felt very much home from home.
