There are woodland walks along a 1.5 mile stretch of river which runs over a series of waterfalls in a ravine, with safe areas for children to play or paddle. The river is a designated habitat for otters and offers salmon and sea trout fishing. Visitors are free to use an all weather tennis court and outdoor chess for adults. There are numerous pet animals which welcome being fed and petted. Guests of all ages enjoy “The Quackery”, which houses a great variety of birds. The cottage was in a beautiful location on the grounds of Talenbont Hall, there was plenty to do on the grounds alone, we were able to feed the roaming peacocks who were friendly, the gardens were beautiful, the cottage contained everything we needed for a well enjoyed break.
