Talhenbont Hall Country Estate

The 100-acre estate of Talhenbont lies in a truly idyllic position in the beautiful unspoilt countryside of the Llyn Peninsula. The cottages are all individual and private. Within five minutes’ drive there are many attractions, castles, beaches, golf courses and the Snowdonia National Park. The local restaurants and inns provide an extensive range of cuisine. Apart from the accommodation, the Talhenbont Estate offers a lot more to visitors. There are woodland walks along a 1.5-mile stretch of river which runs over a series of waterfalls in a ravine. The river is a designated habitat for otters and offers salmon and sea trout fishing. Visitors are free to use an all-weather tennis court and outdoor chess for adults. There are numerous birds and ducks which welcome being fed. Guests of all ages enjoy the Quackery, which houses a great variety of birds. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream.
