The pretty market town of Church Stretton lies in the heart of south Shropshire. It is set amid striking scenery and has often been described as "Little Switzerland". The town is the main centre for Shropshire’s hill country and home to a variety of tearooms, pubs and specialist shops. Other local attractions include walks on the Long Mynd, the Acton Scott Working Farm and Stokesay Castle. The historic towns of Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Ironbridge, Much Wenlock and Bishops Castle are only a short journey away.

Furnished in a traditional style, the cottage offers cosy and comfortable accommodation with a pretty main bedroom with exposed beams and a cosy living area with exposed beams and lovely views over Church Stretton. The cottage is in a fantastic location at the foot of the Long Mynd, on a bridle path to Carding Mill Valley and boasts truly unique views, whilst being ideally placed for taking advantage of the superb walks the area is famous for. Less than half a mile from the amenities of Church Stretton and within easy touring distance of Shropshire’s numerous attractions, Shepherds Cottage is an ideal base for a break in a wonderful location at any time of year.
Two bedrooms: 1 x double with exposed beams, 1 x single (with additional folding bed on request). Compact bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Well-equipped fitted kitchen with small pantry and breakfast bar. Cosy sitting room and dining area, with exposed beams.
