Furnished in a traditional style, the cottage offers cosy and comfortable accommodation with a pretty main bedroom with exposed beams and a cosy living area with exposed beams and lovely views over Church Stretton. The cottage is in a fantastic location at the foot of the Long Mynd, on a bridle path to Carding Mill Valley and boasts truly unique views, whilst being ideally placed for taking advantage of the superb walks the area is famous for. Less than half a mile from the amenities of Church Stretton and within easy touring distance of Shropshire’s numerous attractions, Shepherds Cottage is an ideal base for a break in a wonderful location at any time of year.
Two bedrooms: 1 x double with exposed beams, 1 x single (with additional folding bed on request). Compact bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Well-equipped fitted kitchen with small pantry and breakfast bar. Cosy sitting room and dining area with exposed beams.
Storage heaters with electric fire in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, TV, video, DVD, radio. Electricity inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Enclosed terraced garden area with patio, furniture and BBQ. Off road parking for one car. One well-behaved dog welcome at £10. Sorry, no smoking. Shop, pub and village amenities 10 mins walk. Note: Property is accessed via 15 descending steep steps.

The property is an ideal place for those who crave privacy and a holiday in a quiet, semi-rural location. The walks are literally on your doorstep and the views are great. If you're quite fit you can walk down to the town and back - Church Stretton is a lovely town with lots of charm, and a handy supermarket !
