We didn’t have particularly good weather and property felt quite cold downstairs (even with heating on). China/utensils of lovely quality and certainly had all modcons (with detailed user instructions, which was great) Location fantastic. 100% need mirror at bottom of drive… absolute nightmare getting out as on blind bend - one of us had to get out of car, cross road (on blind bend) and wave car out…. Could easily be remedied with mirror…. Neighbour had one.

Clean and comfortable and although on somewhat of a busy road at times it did not bother us , getting off the drive is easier if someone goes across the road and watches the traffic and the driver out . A wonderful base for visiting lots of places and it’s in a very beautiful part of the country, we had a fantastic week , and the weather was beautiful , so that really was a bonus too , many thanks

We had a 4 night break here and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The cottage is extremely well equipped with everything we needed, and much more. The cottage was very clean and beds very very comfortable. Nice touch to have milk, tea, coffee and waffles on arrival. The location was ideal for exploring North Wales and plenty of local knowledge at hand with leaflets and information from the owners. The driveway was no issue as you could use the mirror opposite and listen for the traffic and see in the other direction. We would 100% recommend staying here and hoping to return in 2024. Thank you to the owners and the housekeeping team.

First impression it smelled lovely . It was clean warm and comfortable and well equipped . Location is great and accessible to many attractions . Only difficulty we encountered was the steepness of the entrance drive and closeness to the main road which took a bit of getting used to. Other than that it was a great experience staying there and would highly recommend it .

We wanted somewhere near the three Zip World venues. Maybe lower tog duvets for the summer. For me as the driver getting out of and turning around in the driveway was a bit of a nuisance. It’s mentioned in the house book to use the mirror on the pole opposite. But it’s there for the neighbour. Anyway, the only safe way to do it is to get a passenger to cross the road, and check it’s clear to pull out.

Had to reverse with help. Garden is at the front, so some traffic noise when sitting out there. These points were listed so not unexpected and did not spoil our stay. The equipment and facilities were of a high standard. Another set of bath towels would have been nice but not expected. Very comfortable, especially beds, with lovely views across fields. Very minor comments - Driveway is very tight, difficult for long vehicles. Beds a little too firm for our preference, bi-fold doors give limited privacy for the bathrooms. Door mat is too small, so cannot avoid paddling wet boots onto the wooden floor

  • "The drive up to the cottage is very tricky and this should be made clearer in the description."

You can only go up the drive from one direction, it is on a blind bend therefore reversing into the road is impossible. I had to do a 7 point turn in a Golf so anyone with a bigger car would really struggle to turn their car around. The issues with the drive need to be explained so that people can make an informed choice. Also some extra toilet rolls would have been good. Only two half rolls available in the cottage. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- OWNERS RESPONSE We are sorry that you found the drive difficult during your stay. The drive is already highlighted in our cottage description. There is a mirror available to aid the exit from the drive and also the option to park on the road in front of the cottage.
