A charming, semi-detached stone cottage, on the edge of the pretty Snowdonia village of Trefriw, six miles from Betws-y-Coed in North Wales. This cosy Trefriw cottage provides warm, welcoming accommodation, with a spacious sitting room with a woodburner, two delightful bedrooms, comprising a super king-size double and a single, and a well-equipped kitchen. From here there is access to the side garden, which overlooks the fields and provides a delightful, elevated terraced seating area where you can relax after an exciting day exploring the surrounding area. Set in the heart of the Conwy Valley in fabulous Snowdonia countryside with walking trails from the doorstep, this Trefriw holiday cottage is close to the popular Victorian town of Betws-y-Coed, with its many pubs and restaurants and outdoor clothing shops, whilst the village of Trefriw itself offers a selection of pubs and restaurants, an award-winning butcher and the famous Trefriw Woollen Mills. This is a wonderful holiday location and a welcoming Trefriw cottage at any time of year.

Note: The terraced garden has steep drops, children should be supervised at all times. Note: This cottage is situated next to a B road and traffic noise can be heard when outside.

TREFRIW

Llanrwst 2 miles; Betws-y-Coed 6 miles.

The pretty village of Trefriw is situated in the beautiful Conwy Valley and is within the Snowdonia National Park. Trefriw is ideally placed for all manner of activities and attractions with the splendour of both the National Park and the North Wales Coast on the doorstep. For its size the village offers a good selection of shops, pubs etc. There is also a working woollen mill and craft shop. The Trefriw Wells Spa - discovered by the Romans and still in use today - is worth a visit. Fishing is available on the River Conwy and also in wonderful lakes in the hills above Trefriw, notably Llyn Crafnant. The whole area is a walker’s paradise and there are numerous beautiful routes around and above the village. Other local attractions include Gwydyr Castle which is a fine example of a Tudor courtyard house, and the extensive Gwydyr Forest Park. Llanrwst is a fine old market town with a good range of local shops reached across the River Conwy from Trefriw by a famous bridge. Betws-y-Coed, North Wales' most popular inland resort, is also only a short drive away.
