A charming, mid-terrace cottage set in a small, bustling café courtyard, in the heart of the historical market town of Llangollen, in the beautiful Dee valley in North Wales. The entrance to this Llangollen cottage is nestled in the corner of the Cottage Tea Room courtyard, known locally as Ham and Egg Square due to the number of eateries that used to service the railway back in the 1860s. The kitchen of this Llangollen cottage has been cleverly designed to provide fitted units throughout, with oak floor and the benefit of a breakfast bar in front of the window. Previous visitors' comments about Candy Cottage:
The central location of the property in Llangollen - all shops and restaurants on the doorstep. It is ideal for a couple who (like us) choose not to take a car. Local bus services are very good, there are main line rail services from nearby Ruabon and the heritage steam railway serves the upper valley well and is great fun. The local walks are excellent and suit all grades.

Everything is at hand including pubs, restaurants, shops etc without using the car. Everyone was really friendly and the owner looked after all your needs. Cafe serves a lovely breakfast and you can't get better than next door. The surrounding area is definitely worth a visit.

The welcome and accommodation was superb. We particularly liked it's central position in the town and it was an ideal base for exploring the area. Would certainly recommend to all.
