Burtonport and its surrounding areas are ideal for lovers of fishing; try sea fishing in Burtonport, catch a charter boat out to sea and try your hand at deep sea fishing, or make the most of one of the 130 lakes or rivers this area has to offer. Those who love golf can delight in the many courses in the area, while nature lovers can try and spot wildlife in the bogs and reed beds, plus mountaineering and mountain climbing can be enjoyed nearby. Less than 5 minutes from this Burtonport cottage you will reach the harbour and coast with its fantastic sandy beaches and sheltered coves, providing a superb environment for the children to rockpool, swim, and explore, whilst you relax and sunbathe. For a day out take the local ferry to Arranmore Island, just 3 miles offshore, renowned for its striking cliffs and interesting caves. The area is also very popular for fishing with both open sea fishing as well as trout fishing in nearby Lough Shure. This delightful Burtonport cottage offers a fantastic holiday base for families and friends to enjoy anytime of the year.
