  • "Beautiful lodge that’s spotlessly clean."

You can hear the road but it didn’t bother us at night and I’m a light sleeper. The only problem we had was the Wi-Fi and tv reception were erratic. Would highly recommend this lovely lodge and we’ll definitely be returning.

thank you for your positive feedback Mark, we look forward to welcoming you back Property Owner

  • "An immaculately presented lodge."

Absolutely spotless. It was very comfortable and had everything that was needed for our stay. Very easy to get to different places and a very quiet site. The road noise was not a problem in the slightest and we would not hesitate to book again. The android TV was a very welcome addition as the weather was not very kind to us.....a thoughtful gesture and acknowledging that nowadays people need more that the usual channels. A real home from home!

thank you so much Janet for the lovely feedback, we look forward to seeing you again Property Owner

  • "The caravan itself is very nice however the following let our stay down 1) We arrived late on the Friday and went straight out shopping."

Upon returning during unpacking we realised the caravan had not been cleaned. Towels on floor, bedding stained, bathroom dirty and generally dirty. It was too late to report to Sykes. We ended up sleeping on fleeces and in our clothes. Not what you expect when paying over £700!!! We were compensated but that's not the point. The next day when the cleaner arrived she admitted to missing it on the Friday!!! 2) On the Tuesday the main TV free view stopped working saying no signal. The owner did send instructions which didn't work and then the site manager came round, to try and fix it to no joy. The owner arranged for someone called Billy to ring us, however as it was 9.30pm I didn't answer. He sent me a message asking to turn off at mains and leave off overnight. I was to ring him the next day however I didn't due to my next point. 3) There is a very busy main road near the site and the caravan is very close to it. The caravan is noisy even through the night. I am partially deaf and I could still hear it!! I would like to say though that the owner did everything she could to help us. However I would not return.

I am so sorry Suzanne that you felt you needed to write this feedback, when I spoke to you on the phone several times you were always so nice to me. We gave you a £50 immediate refund to go and have a nice meal as an apology due to the cleaners forgetting the clean the lodge. I think you must have knocked something on the TV remote, as we arranged for the TV engineer to attend and as soon as he looked at the tv everything worked perfectly. The site manager advised us that you left as your dog could not settle. Again, we apologise most profusely for the cleaning not being done and the contractors have been told this is not acceptable. • "An amazing family holiday!"

Absolutely loved every minute of it. A washer would be appreciated. Booked a week stay with no washer and no laundrette on site… but wasn’t a massive deal. Was clean, bright and comfortable place to stay. We loved it. No issues at all and just wish the weather was better so we could have taken advantage of the outdoor space. Will be returning again, hopefully in summer.

Hi glad you enjoyed your stay, we do have a washing machine in 2 of our other lodges which are Away Daze and Brighter Daze just at the back of your lodge, we very much look forward to welcoming you back again Property Owner
