Wold Newton is a sleepy little village within the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds, just four miles from Hunmanby. With its pretty stone cottages, village green, duck pond and even the site of a meteorite hit, it makes a lovely place to stay. It has a local pub serving meals, and is in an ideal location for walking the numerous public footpaths through the lovely countryside of the Wolds. It is only seven miles to the east coast seaside resorts of Filey and Bridlington, with all their family attractions, or travel a little further to visit the historic Minster City of York.

A picturesque, single storey detached 'chocolate box' cottage, in the sleepy village of Wold Newton just 4 miles from Hunmanby in the Yorkshire Wolds. This charming cottage with roses around the door has been tastefully furnished and decorated to offer warm and welcoming accommodation, with a cosy sitting room with feature fireplace and stripped pine doors, boasting a pleasant view of the village duck pond. The local pub is just a minute’s walk away and there are many public footpaths to explore in the lovely countryside which surrounds the cottage. The seaside towns of Filey and Bridlington with all their amenities are just 7 miles away, and the minster city of York is just a little further afield. A charming cottage retreat!
