  • "We had a lovely stay, No."

6 is a very comfortable home from hom. It's in a quiet location and just a short walk from 2 nice pubs serving good food. It's a ten minute drive to Scarborough town centre and right on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Highly recommend

A few light bulbs need replacement and door and stair window could do with curtains. But it was a very quiet place to stay

  • "Everything was splendid."

A tremendous bonus was the dryer. We had to report a badly dripping tap in the bathroom which had been a bit worrying. Hope it got sorted quickly. The only other criticism were the Kitchen knives which badly needed sharpening and the knife block fell apart as I replaced a knife. And apart from no bins anywhere except the kitchen, everything else was perfect. It was all simply decorated, with very comfortable beds, clean linens, and everything thought of. I could see that there were many happy returnees in the visitors book and am not surprised.

The area was quite the only busy time is when the local school finishes for the day. Ideally situated for us as we are happy to use the car to visit local area. Great for walks and local pubs serve good food. House has everything you need if you want to cook at home. Lovely garden to use in the summer ( too cold in Feb!).

It was also in a lovely location close enough to Scarborough to be able to walk there or catch a bus. The advantage, if you like quiet, being its peaceful position. I would recommend this property without hesitation. Thanks to the owner for their thoughtfulness, they even provided a few essential food items for our arrival.

  • "Door on fridge would not shut properly so had to defrost the area around the ice box seal, afterwards it was fine."

Wi Fi was a bit hit and miss but maybe there is not a strong enough signal in the area, also maybe the owner could maybe display the Wi Fi code in the welcome book. These minor things did not however detract from a very good stay at this very comfortable and well equipped home. Also the welcome treats was very much appreciated.
