Foxglove Lodge is set in the pretty village of Castleton, the heart of the North York Moors National Park and is set in the converted Old Parish Rooms.
Built of sandstone and red brick, this Castleton cottage has been thoughtfully modernised to a high standard to provide excellent accommodation for guests wanting to explore the surrounding stunning scenery, yet it is also within easy reach of Whitby and the east coast.

Upstairs are two double bedrooms, the larger one with beautiful views over the hills of the Esk Valley.

Within a short stroll are the excellent village amenities, including local inns serving fine ales and good food, a Co-op, a bank and quaint tea rooms.
With a network of public footpaths and bridleways from the village, this area is a haven for walkers, cyclists and horse riders, whilst a short drive brings you to the historic seaside port of Whitby, with its long sandy beaches, cobbled market place and famous abbey.
The area is also rich in industrial and archaeological sites from its mining history, with Bronze Age relics also prolific.
Why not visit the Danby Moors Centre, just two miles away, or discover the delights of the picturesque coastal villages of Runswick Bay and Staithes?
The nearby market town of Guisborough is well worth visiting, with its individual shops and twice weekly market days.
