  • "This is our 5th visit to Pebble Cottage."

Always lovely and clean. Its home from home for us. Had a small issue with shower leaking on the last visit but the owner was very very helpful and extremley friendly. I would Highly recommend this cottage. The addition of a small freezer on the work top in the kitchen was a big bonus. One small suggestion is a washing line outside in the back garden would be useful. We will definatley return. Lovely house.

  • "Lovely cottage, well situated."

Suspect the attic room would have been way too hot this summer. Not a complaining, just an observation. It looks a lovely room though. But for 2 plus dog it was a perfect house.

  • "I stayed here with my dog for five nights and the place is beautiful."

Cosy, clean and everything you need for a week. It’s within walking distance of Runswick Bay and a lovely coastal walk to Staithes. I will definitely return to this cottage.

  • "Lovely cottage in the perfect location for visiting beautiful beaches up and down the coast."

Everything you could need with the exception of local amenities as neither pub in the village serves food now which was disappointing. Parking was also a slight problem and cottage felt cold. Apart from minor niggles it was everything we wanted for a lovely week away in a beautiful area of the east coast.

Thank you for your kind feedback. We are sorry to hear that you found the cottage cold, the house temperature can be regulated by using the thermostat in the hallway. The house does heat up quickly. As far as we are aware, the Badger Hounds in the village is open for both drinks and food, the Brown Cow only serves drinks. We are glad that you were able to enjoy the surrounding area and have a lovely holiday. Property Owner

  • "Could not fault the property at all it had everything described in the listing."

We had a great time on our stay. One thing that should be mentioned in the visitors information is that currently the Brown Cow pub does not serve food. It's not a major problem but needs to be noted.

Thank you Michael for your kind comments, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your holiday at Pebble Cottage. Thank you for pointing out that the Brown Cow is not currently serving food, we were unaware of this and have now updated our visitor information book accordingly.
