The property

An attractive ground floor apartment in a converted mid-terrace Victorian property, set on the esplanade in the seaside town of Hornsea.

This modernised self-catering apartment has been tastefully renovated and offers a light, airy sitting room with original high ceilings and cornices and a large bay window providing excellent views towards the sea.

With a small but well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious double bedroom, this self-catering apartment provides comfortable accommodation just a stone's throw from the seafront.

A short walk brings you to the town centre with a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurant and with a smart, long promenade hosting attractive linear gardens and wide sandy beaches close by, Bay View Apartment has much to offer everyone.

Nearby Hornsea Mere, the largest natural lake in Yorkshire, offers boat trips, sailing and fishing.

Close by is Hornsea Freeport shopping centre, as well as good walking opportunities on a disused railway line.

The high chalk cliffs of Flamborough and Bempton RSPB are a haven for bird watchers.

Less than an hour’s drive brings you to The Deep Submarium in Hull, historic York or the Yorkshire Wolds and Moors.

Bridlington 15 miles.

The pretty seaside town of Hornsea lies on the East Coast, 15 miles south of Bridlington. This old Victorian resort has long, wide, safe sandy beaches and an attractive promenade with well-kept gardens, ideal for families. The bustling town centre has an old-fashioned feel with a good variety of small shops, pubs and cafes, whilst nearby Hornsea Mere is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. Hornsea Freeport is popular for shopping, whilst Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, offering one of the largest mainland puffin populations in Britain. Hornsea is near to Wassand Hall and walled gardens and provides a good base for touring the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors and the East Riding coastal resorts. The historic city of York and The Deep at Hull are within an easy drive.
