The small village of Wombleton lies in Ryedale, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Three miles from both Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside, Wombleton still retains some farming heritage, with several working farms in the village. Recorded in the Domesday Book, the village consists of a mix of old, traditional stone cottages and newer housing. The village has an excellent pub, a medieval cruck framed building, serving good bar meals. The pretty market towns of Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside are nearby with good restaurants, tea rooms and individual shops. A very clean and comfortable accommodation in a peaceful village. The property is completely self-contained but the owners were easily available. We have already recommended the property to a friend.

Absolutely amazing calm place to stay. Welcoming owners. Worth every pound paid.
Mr Kancerevyaus, Vilnius, April 2011
We stayed in the apartment for a week or so and will definitely recommend!! Couldn't say enough good things about that place: decoration was very tasteful, everything is spotless and elegant, and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Besides, in spite of the heavy snow and cold temperature, we managed to explore a lot of good scenes surrounding the village. The entire getaway was more than relaxing and unique, and we will definitely come back.
