The cottage is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and perfectly positioned for exploring the Yorkshire coast. The off street parking is a great perk in the attractive village of Scalby. We often left our car at the cottage to enjoy walking in to Scarborough and various circular walks from the cottage. The owners, Mike and Christine, were friendly and welcoming, they also contacted us a couple of days before our visit to warn of us of a temporary road closure in the area and provided an alternative (much more scenic) route to the cottage. The welcome pack was exceptional, full of local produce including bread, beer and chocolates. Yew Court Cottage will definitely be our first choice for accommodation whenever we visit the area.
