Previous visitors' comments about Gateside:

I liked the upstairs living area which with its exposed beams seemed spacious and light. The kitchen was beautifully appointed. The house was extremely well equipped and had everything that was needed.
Mrs Davis, Holmrook, July 2012

The village is very, very nice and peaceful, which is exactly what I expected after visiting the year before. There is lots to see and do in the local area making for a great place to stay for a holiday. Try the drive over the moors to the North Yorkshire Moors visitor centre! The local pub serves excellent food, the best pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord I've ever had and the staff are really nice and pleasant too. What more could you wish for?
Mr Butler, Coventry, May 2012

A very comfortable cottage in a good, quiet position within easy reach of local pub, Pickering and attractions. Large sitting room, very high quality kitchen appliances and facilities and good supply of spare towels etc.
Mr Scott, Sutton, April 2012

Cosy cottage in a quiet village. It's within easy reach of the Moors and coast.
