Kirkbymoorside is just 7 miles away, whilst the coastal towns and fishing villages of the Yorkshire Coast are within easy driving distance.

Visit the historic abbeys at Rievaulx and Byland and take a trip on the North York Moors Steam Railway nearby at Pickering. Castle Howard and the historic city of York are well worth visiting from this Rosedale Abbey cottage and, the seaside resorts of Whitby, Filey and Scarborough are within easy reach.
