The Staintondale Shire Horse Farm is just down the road, while there is a network of footpaths and bridleways in the village. A superb base from which to explore the region.

Beautifully modern cottage in a fantastic setting. Owners were discrete - on hand for anything but not in the slightest intrusive. A couple of lovely little touches; a Christmas tree and a wrapped box of chocolates. Good handbook, maps and suggestions. Perfect break
