Previous visitors' comments about Lyndhurst:
Our holiday was as near to perfect as you can get.
Mrs Mincher, Wolverhampton, July 2011
The standard of the welcome exceeded our expectations. We very much liked
the cosy interior of the cottage, the convenient location, and the friendliness of all the people in Staxton village, who almost without exception greeted us as we walked around.
Mr Spedding, York, June 2011
This was our second visit to Lyndhurst and we found that it is an ideal location and central for visiting the nearby towns and city of York. The village of Staxton is a quiet location but caters for your every day needs. Our thanks go to the owner for her kindness and hospitality. She is an asset to the visitors and very helpful concerning local knowledge. We would definitely use Sykes Cottages again.
Mr Lawson, Kirkcudbright, June 2011
Very good standard. A comfortable and warm cottage. Nice touches provided by the owner. There is very good off-road parking and the village is quiet. The property is well placed to visit the local places of interest.
