Popular since Victorian times, the vibrant seaside town of Scarborough retains many of its original fine buildings, parks and gardens, as well as its historic Castle which overlooks the town. North and South bay provide two superb stretches of beautiful, golden sandy beaches, popular with families and small children. There are many popular visitor attractions within the town, including the Stephen Joseph Theatre, which premieres all Sir Alan Ayckbourn's plays. Add to this all the usual seaside entertainment and bustling promenades located close to the beach and Scarborough is the destination with something for everyone. Ideally situated for touring the rest of the coastline and the Moors inland, Scarborough is an ideal base for a fun-filled break.

A smart and modern, semi-detached house, set in a quiet residential estate on the edge of Scarborough, just a short distance from the town centre and the beach. The accommodation is well-equipped, with good quality furnishings and fittings, and an enclosed rear garden, ideal for sitting out after a day by the seaside. The amenities of the town are just a short walk away offering a Japanese style Peasholme Park and many shops, pubs and seaside stalls. Scarborough is great for exploring the rest of the coastline, as well as the dramatic moors inland – ideal at any time of the year.

It was very close to the beach and access to the local shop was great. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. You would never know pets were allowed and none of my family suffered from allergies.

The house was close to a lovely beach with safe parking. There was easy access to the main road to explore the rest of the coast. There was lots to do in the area and Scarborough never fails to please. We just love Peasholm Park, the Cleveland way, and the excellent beaches. Whitby is close by for further exploration and there was always something do.
